COVID-19 Protocol

The health and safety of Mountaineer passengers and drivers is a number one priority of SATCo.

​

Masks and Vehicle Occupancy

  • All Mountaineer passengers and drivers are required to wear masks at all times when inside vehicles

  • Vehicle occupancy will be reduced to adhere to social distancing guidelines

Cleaning and Disinfecting

Mountaineer will follow strict cleaning and disinfecting protocols that adhere to federal, state and local guidelines. This includes:

​

  • Vehicle cleaning and disinfecting at the beginning of every shift

  • Cleaning and disinfecting of high touch points such as seatbelts, door handles, and arm rests will be disinfected throughout each operating day

  • Providing hand sanitizer and masks to drivers and passengers

Commitment to Service

Despite a reduced vehicle fleet, and with the understanding that average wait times may increase from last year’s remarkable numbers, SATCo is still confident that Mountaineer will continue providing passengers with a high level of service.

 

SATCo is committed to being as responsive as possible to shifts in Mountaineer ridership demand amidst the uncertainty of the pandemic.

Mountaineer Passenger Agreement

I agree:

​

  • to not use Mountaineer if I feel sick or have a temperature

  • to not use Mountaineer if I have tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 14 days 

  • to not use Mountaineer if I have had direct contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 with the last 14 days

  • to wear a mask at all times while inside Mountaineer and outside within 6 feet of others

  • if I am not willing to wear a mask, I will be refused Mountaineer service

  • to minimize touching surfaces within vehicles

  • to follow driver's directions regarding seating assignments and wait for another vehicle if I'm told to do so

  • that Mountaineer's average wait times may increase from last year’s remarkable numbers
